In the Skill's Own Terms
A WCAG 2.2 audit guide combining automated checks, manual verification and remediation suggestions. It organizes issues by impact and uses the Perceivable, Operable, Understandable and Robust principles to structure the review.
It covers issues such as missing alternative text, keyboard barriers, contrast and heading structure. The source stresses semantic HTML, manual checks and testing with disabled users. Its audit guidance is not legal advice or a compliance certification.
What it produces
- Actionable remediation strategies for identified violations
- Accessible component library documentation
How It Works
- 01Categorize Violations by Impact
Issues are classified as Critical (blockers like missing alt text and no keyboard access), Serious (insufficient contrast, missing skip links), or Moderate (missing language attribute, unclear link text).
- 02Apply POUR Principles
Audit against four principles: Perceivable (can users perceive content), Operable (can users operate the interface), Understandable (can users understand content), and Robust (does it work with assistive tech).
- 03Combine Automated and Manual Testing
Use automated checks to locate detectable issues, then verify keyboard and assistive-technology behavior manually. An automated score is not a complete audit.
- 04Reference Detailed Pattern Documentation
When core concepts are insufficient, the skill directs to references/details.md for worked examples and in-depth pattern guidance.
